We respect your right to delete your account and associated data. This page explains how to request deletion of your AAFC account and the data associated with it.
How to Request Account Deletion
To request deletion of your account, please send an email to our support team with the details below:

Alternatively, you can manually email us at: support@aafclinic.com
Please include in your email:
- Your registered email address
- Your clinic name
- Subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
What Gets Deleted
Upon confirmation of your deletion request, we will permanently delete:
- Your user account (email, name, role)
- Your clinic information (name, logo, doctor details, address)
- All patient records (names, contact info, visit history, clinical notes)
- All patient photographs and before/after comparisons
- All uploaded documents (treatment cards, consent forms, product barcodes)
- All PDF reports generated by the app
What Gets Retained
Certain data may be retained for legal or operational reasons:
- Security logs: Login attempts and security events may be retained for up to 90 days for fraud prevention purposes
- Legal requirements: In very limited cases, anonymized records may be retained if required by Turkish medical recordkeeping laws (typically 20 years for medical records, though this applies to data held by the Clinic User, not AAFC)
- Backups: Full data removal from encrypted backups is completed within 90 days
Timeline
- Within 72 hours: We will acknowledge receipt of your request
- Within 7 days: We will send a verification email to confirm your identity
- Within 30 days: All primary data will be permanently deleted after verification
- Within 90 days: All backup copies will be purged
Important Notes for Clinic Users
If you are a Clinic Admin and your clinic has other users, deleting your account may affect them. Please coordinate with your clinic team before requesting deletion. Patient data deletion within an active clinic should be handled by the responsible Clinic User via the app.
